Help (again)

Post by pete » Sat Oct 04, 2008 9:06 pm

Does anyone have any idea where I might get the bolt that holds on the hub to the hub carrier. M12 with a slim thread?

Errm the last one was killed in a horrible accident involving Nizzy, me, and angle grinder, a dremmel and a couple of drills.

To be fair it was the grinder which did most of the damage.

See posting in other thread.

If you can only find a standard mild steel type of bolt I would suggest tightening only to 60Nm or so rather than the 90Nm for the proper bolt - obviously you must only drive the car at low speeds until the correct bolt is fitted.
