tyre help

Post by Scottynic » Sun Oct 05, 2008 1:06 pm

Unfortunately its time to renew the rear tyres on my "S"

I have yoko neova AD07s on the front which are hardly worn, does this mean I nead to put AD07s on the rear?

Have AD07s been superceded by anything?

Thanks

AD07's are still current and I'd definitely stick with a matched set of tyres all round.... If you're looking to change away from the AD07's, swap them a full set at a time, else you risk "interesting" handling characteristics! :thumbsup

Hi mate, if you haven't already bought the yoko's give http://www.eliseparts.com/shop/index.ph ... cts_id=638 a wee try because it was the cheapest i've found by far and got them dispatched the on same day i ordered (placed it in in the morning)
AD07's definitely the best for road driving - especially in the wet! got my new tyres on then drove down to Italy via nurburgring, stelvio pass, futa pass, furka pass, st, gotthard pass etc...
would be dead if i went for other tyres!

Agreed they are a safe tyre for the road - very confidence inspiring - Neil & I did the odd mountain whilst on FF this year and they were more than up to the abuse they got - which was not insubstantial ;-)

Definitely recommended.

Robin
