wonky!

Post by skellyjohn » Mon Apr 17, 2006 6:14 pm

Can somebody point me in the right direction please.

My car's all over the place at the moment. I'm hoping it's just the geo as I've had all the bushes, joints, shocks (and other bits that I dont understand) done in the last 5 months.

So...
Is there anywhere near me (Glasgow) that you can recommend?
Is it expensive?
I'm picking up my refurbed roof from MMC Edinburgh this week. Can they do?

Thank you for any help.

MMC would just send it round the corner to Willie at CLCM. Some people say he's good, others not. You'll probably get that with most places though.

If you put it into MMC for the work they'll just send it to CLCM.

I've used Willie twice and i've been very pleased 8)
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

You need to make sure you do the mid-laden weight thing, or at least half a tank of fuel and you in the car - if you tend to have a passenger then willie has some weights which I suggest you put on the cross member just in front of the passenger seat while you sit in the drivers seat - just make sure you keep the steering wheel straight and the foot brake on!

If you're car is badly wobbly you might be looking at bent wishbones (though if the bushes have been done I would expect whoever did that to notice the bent wishbone!).

Cheers,
Robin
