Not heard anything bad about them, if it has to be Glasgow. Know that they do them quite regularly.

Other option, if you can punt along to Edinburgh, CLCM in Sighthill are the ones that the main dealer use and know the cars inside out.

Progrip are competitive.....I doubt drivers are.....Brian J or JJ should be able to tell you the exact price.
Kenny has used progrip recently, I think.

£40 or £45 at Progrip, John knows his stuff but is very very busy, he does stuff for a lot of rally and track cars as well as other sports cars. He is competitively priced but it will take a few weeks to get booked in. You may also have to have a few attempts at calling as he is a one man band snowed uder with work and doesn't get much time to answer the phone.

Can't fault his work though, usually explains exactly what he is doing as he does the geo and sets it up to how you want it.

I knew kenwood would be along shortly.
I don't think you'll see any change off £100 from drivers.
CLCM are around £60.

I can always be more vague!

Thanks JJ!

I am going to check them out at the weekend and get booked. in for geo and wheel balancing.

sorry to be the noob here, but am sure they will ask questions regarding the set-up.

I will be using the car on the road only fast use.( when permitted) will i tell the guy this bassic information be enough?

Around the £100 mark seems what i expected i think.

What car do you have?

I would expect you probably want to make sure the car is on, or near about, factory settings. Lotus don't get much wrong handling wise so if it ain't broke...

You can set it up more aggressive but thats really for serious track use, all that will do is make it twitchy as hell on the road and ruin the fun.

I asked a similar question about geo setting ages ago, will see if I can find.

another :thumbsup for John at progrip.
i really need to book mine in there - he checked my geo, gave me print out and told me that I had a little play in my ball joints/ rod ends/ steering rack.
He said it wouldnt be worth doing geo as it would go out again by the time I get round to fixing it.
never charged me for his time... that was 6 months ago!

What car have you got, what suspension , tyres ? What do you want it to do ? Calling Robin . :thumbsup

When I had mine done at progrip, only the toe was out against the standard settings so it was only £40 . Despite being told it at the time, most of my issues were driver induced by my lack of ability . I do not have the tallent to make use of a agressive geo and it would just eat tyres .

Edit : What kenny said :D
