VHPD

Post by craigs135s » Thu Feb 26, 2009 7:04 pm

Guys the car won't rev past 5.5 RPM...Every time it hits 5.5k it bounces back. Am sure this is safe mode but i could be wrong :?: So has anyone got any ideas why this would happem?

I have been told one thing that it could be just want to see if anyone else comes up with anything.

Cheers

Lots of posts on this on exiges.com, all point to the wheel speed sensor, see here for an example

Only if it's had the recall done for the miss fire detection, I've never had mine done because it seems to cause even more problems, plus I like to run with the wheel speed sensor disconnected, gives lots of pops and bangs on the overrun. :D

I deliberately didn't have the miss fire detection recall and disconnected mine to get all the pops and bangs also.

I would say that confirms it then mate.. Since i got it bak a couple of days ago i noticed its poped and banged way more than it did before it went away. So i take it just clips back together? :thumbsup
