machining uprights etc

Post by foz01 » Wed Apr 22, 2009 10:18 am

I need my front and rear uprights machined to suit updated brakes, is there anyone around Aberdeen who can do this? Plenty places down south but postage is horrendous as the whole discs, bells, uprights and calipers have to go as well.. Cheers, Lowell

Where are you up to with your Elise now Lowell.

I presume that you decided not to sell after being screwed around. Where are you now with the re-build?

Still in bits in the garage at the mo, need these shiny new brakes on, the clams repaired, a respray and then we are off, finding companies to actually quote for repairs has been the hard bit, wheel Refurbs and new windscreen are done and new seats are on the way :) who did your clam repairs and respray work again?
Then these new brakes will need some more horses to stop so another yellow supercharged one would be funny :D

Sounds great, especially if you S/C as well. McApe will then probably buy it from you and turn it into a shed again.

The repair and re-spray on my car was done by Alan Ramsay in Stuartfield, well worth checking up with him for your car.

It's a job that Ricky would be able to do as he has his own milling machine and lathe.
