NLC Smart dent repairs in edinburgh

Post by jamiey » Fri May 15, 2009 11:49 am

Had a lovely trip away the weekend before last staying at the Sorn Inn in Ayrshire...

Apart from some hilarious muppet decided to run over the bonnet of the BMW.

There is now a slight impression where his heel went down mid way up the drivers side, didn't break the paint and can only be seen in certain angles.

Sadly don't have a picture to hand at the mo.

I'm toying with seeing if a Smart repair (such as the KWIK FIT on dundee st) may be able to sort it rather than taking it to Eastern and being quoted for a new bonnet or similar...

Does anyone have any experiences of Smart repairs in the Edinburgh area?

Sigh, only had the motor just over a month and have been the politest, nicest Bee Emm driver possible.

In Sorn?

Chr*st, most of the coffin dodgers in that town couldn't get their leg as high as a BM bonnet - bad luck mate...

Was with my in laws and it was conviently mid-way between G'gow (went to see Dylan at the SECC) and Jenks' the Garden of Cosmic speculation near Dumfries on the sunday.

As an aside the steak at that pub is fabulous.

Don't get me wrong - I actually love it as a wee village. Back when I videoed weddings, my absolute favourite gig was at that wee church at the end of the village, and as you say the Inn is tremendous.

My reaction was incredulity, as I'd expect that to happen in just about every village in the area apart from Sorn.

Bad luck matey :(

I've used Dentmaster ages ago. Lately I've a guy who works mainly in the trade, and found him to be excellent. His name is Charlie 07977 459 855, based in Bonnyrigg. He does the work for BMW Mercedes etc. Sure he'll be cheaper than Kwik Fit

Left red paint on it, not sure how dented it is as I was only grabbing my Umbrella on my way to work.

Arg I take care other people's cars why can't the same courtesy be extended to me?
