Hi all,
Just ordered a full set of Mintex 1144's. Couldnt justify buying the padgids (just yet, though probably would have if i hadnt just paid for a service, mot and the insurance this week). Had OEM Brembos on since i got the car in December, hoping there will be an improvement with the 1144's . Not sure how they will cope on track though but as i think i may only do 2 - 3 trackdays a year think they should cope.
Anyway back to my subject, is it easy enough to change the pads on the Lotus and are the anti rattle pads a pain to fit correctly ? Have changed discs and pads myself before though these were on a corsa and a saxo. Remember reading a post possibly a few months back where someone posted a guide on changing the pads on the Lotus though have did a search and cant find it
Cheers,
Kevin.

Fronts are a doddle, 15 min job. Rears you have to remove two allan bolts and swing the caliper down, but no prob.
Use a pair of long nose pliers to wind the pistons in on the rears to fit the new pads, the fronts just lever in.

Hi woody, thanks for the offer
Think I shall give it a go with long nose pliers first which should hopefully do the job, if not will give you a shout.
Cheers,
kevin.
