Spring rates

I need a pair of rear bilstein dampers for the elise.
I know it is the S2 for S1 kit that is on the car. But I heard somewhere that it uses stiffer springs than the S2.
is this correct ? before I go splashing the cash on the wrong bits.

Only on the front. Rear are standard rates.
Some of the kits use VX220 springs on the front.

Order quickly as they are on back order at Lotus . You may want to chat to Elise parts .
