Lost Coolant Cap

Just topped up the coolant, but stupidly forgot to replace the cap  & it looks like it's fallen out on the road somewhere.
Tried retracing my tracks but no luck.
I'm hoping to get a new one from MMC tomorrow (Mon). Does anyone know if this is the sort of thing they would have in stock?
Secondly, if I drive slowly, will it be safe enough to get there (it's about a 20 min journey through town or 15 mins on the bypass)?

get it from a motor factors or an old rover dealer, cheaper than MMC

Thanks for the tips :thumbsup

Perhaps should have mentioned that it's a Toyota engine, so presumably I'd be looking for a Toyota dealer instead of Rover.
As for Motor Factors, will I need a part number or can I just ask for a coolant cap for an Elise S2?
