a funny thing happened today, whilst driving in edinburgh along the pothole peppered roads, my F/N/S indicator popped out and danced about the bonnet hanging on by the wiress !!!
the plastic clip thingy cracked and not holding it in place anymore. common problem Graham at Murray tells me, and the bits on back order for weeks!
Anyone else?

Happened to me too on Friday on the M9 just past Newbridge. Same one as well - NSF. Check if you still have the wee rubber seal somewhere, either attached or in the hole as unfortunatley mine must have went flying off down the road
Using tape at the moment.
As others have said, just going to get it sealed in.

same thing happened to me a while back. both indicators went within a week of each other, put some masking tape on to hold them in until i could get them repaired and ended up taking chunks of paint off when removing them. the front's getting a touch up this friday...take care removing that tape!

Warm the tape up with a hair dryer before trying to remove it ~should soften the adhesive on the back of the tape and stop it peeling the paint off
Dont what ever you do and seikaflex them in or you'll never get them off again clear silicone will do just fine

I used superglue when it happened on my old 111r - it then became the best fitted bit of the car

Happened to me too (twice).
First time was when the car was only a couple of months old, so took it to MMC to get repaired under warranty. They said it was a common fault and used adhesive to stick it back in. Then it popped out again on the outside lane of the M8 a couple of weeks ago (so much for their adhesive). I've stuck it back in with exterior silicone and so far so good.
(IMO silicone is the best invention ever - great for bathrooms, greennhouses, leaking ponds and now car repairs).
