S1 horn location

Can anyone help me, my cars booked in tomorrow for mot and just discovered horns not working, checked fuse and still broken. where is the horn located in the s1 elise and is it a big job to change out?

isn't it that yellow button in the middle of the steering wheel? ;)

Joking aside you would probably be best to start with the yellow button, there may be a loose connection in it or more likely a little bit of corrosion which is stopping the contacts meeting properly. If there is a quick scrape would probably sort it. My car has a momo so the set up is probably different but I’d try prising the yellow bit off with a little screw driver and having a look.

I seem to remember that the horn is at the front but can’t remember whether it is accessible with the clam on. Should be easy to swap out if accessible.

Not much use since you are in Aberdeen but I would have lent you one for the day if it was accessible.

Frotn right, full lock on the steering wheel and you can get at it from the wheel arch cover.

If you look at this Euro car it is on the wrong side to the right of the driving lamp.
