REAR OFFSIDE SUSPENSION

Post by Nig The Stig » Tue Oct 20, 2009 11:52 am

In the past few days I have noticed that the rear offside damper has been making a right loud creeking noise when the car has been running for a while(when fluid in shock being warmed up) Its on compression and rebound. Sounds like somethings loose and moving when being compressed but can't put finger on it.

Anyone know where I can get the tool to remove the Exige's alloys? Seems to be a torx fitting but can't find one to fit, cheers.

Tool is in a pouch in the boot, usually next to the battery.

Once used replace all the locking nuts with std ones and put them in a box never to be used again.

Better still change them for normal hex heads and then sell the originals on flea bay...
