Hi, does anybody know where I can get the rubber and felt runner strips for the windows for a s1 elise in the Glasgow area.
Cheers danny.

I bought mine from Bell and Colvill, then they sent them up. Then i spoke to Craig (R10CRW?) who told me they are basically a universal seal which are used on just about everything (in his case, caravans). You can buy them in lengths then cut them down.

They are pricey from Lotus, £80-£90 a pop...... :x . Maybe Craig can point you in the right direction

Cheers

We spoke about this in Alan's conversion thread, Nizzy pointed to Woolies, a car trim specialist, and pointed out a couple of possibilities.

see here (near the bottom of the page, and onto the next)

Post back if you find anything else out please.

Yes its a wollies window trim held in place with self adhesive velcro which not only makes them much easier to replace it also packs the trim out so that it touches the outside of the window glass
been a couple of threads on SELOC now with pic's posted and good results

Did you go for this then?

The outer seal is identified on SELOC as the first seal on here:
http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-166-weatherstrip.aspx

What about the inner? Is the same seal used?
Isn't velcro going to stick up a bit?

Gonna be needing some new seals fairly soon.
