Re: oh no....
Block test would be first port of call if you don't have any obvious leaks ... if there are any coolant snail trails on the expansion tank I would try replacing the filler cap.
Any change in running temperatures?
Cheers,
Robin

Re: oh no....
No, other than spotting a 95 the other day it sits between 87 and 90, I am going to change the cap tommorow and I am waiting to hear back from Steve Weegie regarding a loan of his sniffing kit.
It happened 6 months or so ago and it passed the sniff test, I am praying that air is getting in and/or water out. and that the Buchanan galleries multi story just moved the air around.

Arriving broadside, in a cloud of smoke......
Re: oh no....
Yeah, I've been hanging on to Steve's kit with the intention of testing mine again if/when it gets worse (longish story, but had trouble convincing AA I needed transporting due to possible HGF.)
PM me if you're needing it.

Re: oh no....
update, i will get the new cap tomorrow. Filled it up and took it for a run up to temp. Looked in the back and the water level was down at low. (normal) took it to glasgow and all would appear fine.

Re: oh no....
Mine always sits at the low mark.... if your geting a sweet smett with the heater on then the matrix could be leaking? Or it could be what Mac said
Hope it's nothing though!

Mine sits significantly below low. Or did.
Now it sometimes just goes down. New cap fitted...
The garage opposite your work in Stewarton have an exhaust gas analyser and have not charged me a couple of times for hooking up to it to check for failure...
