Vinyl 'Lotus' and 'Elise' decals for rear clam

Post by Corranga » Thu Jan 07, 2010 3:41 pm

Maybe not so technical, but I suppose it's a parts question...

Has anyone sourced these (s1 stylee) decals from somewhere else in non-original lotus colours, but in the correct sizes?

I'm sure Bob's you man for these - either wait about a bit until he notices this thread or send him a PM. Bob Van M :thumbsup

I saw them on the Bell and Colville site, and was considering ordering from them, but they only Lotus parts, which means they only do graphite / gold /silver from the various editions over the years. I'd considering something not one of those colours (though will likely get some graphite ones just in case!) ;)

I'm also trying to avoid ordering thinks at Lotus prices for now, especially seals / plastic trim fitments / grill fitments!

Ah, I see. I searched around for a while trying to find the door seals and window seals cheaper than lotus parts but I got fed up and just bit the bullet and paid full whack. Let me know if you do find any cheaper though as it would be useful to know.

PS-not managed to get the elise out the garage to take pics of the wheels yet, but will try to do it over the weekend when there is natural light.

No probs. I'm trying to be proper pikey and do everything as cheaply as possible. Reckon i'm only going to change the outer seals at the bottom of the window and will probably go for the woolies (trim place) option discussed here and in more detail on seloc.

I'm still trying to get brake light lenses for < 40quid and an s2 adhesive bonnet badge that isn't 50 quid too ;)
