17" front & 18" rear wheels?

Was flicking through the hangar 111 web site and was surprised to see them selling the pro race wheels for the exige in a 17" front and 18" rear fitment.
http://www.hangar111.com/web-store/335- ... l-set.html
Would that not stuff up the handling fitting such big wheels with such low profiles? Would be curious to see a photo of a car running this set up

The lack of sidewall flex will make the handling a bit less progressive I would imagine? also the ride will be a fair bit firmer and most likely the wheel/tyre package will weigh a bit more not to mention the rolling radius of the wheels affecting ride height??

Sorry not a definitive answer just some thoughts!

I think the Exige running in the TimeAttack might be running those wheel sizes?

Quite like the look but no idea what it might do to driving dynamics.

That looks really good - not much clearance to the arches though.

that's one of the guys cars from LT in the US - took the wheels off before he sold it IIRC - apparantly they rub like a b*tch, although they look great (apart from they make standard brakes look like bottle tops)
