It seems my little shed has too much power... it has broken an engine mount...

It asks the eternal question..

can you have too much power..?

mine sheared an engine mount bolt a few years ago just as I was overtaking :?

Yes you can...about 149 PS is about right, any more is a waste ;-)

Sorry to hear this John. Hope you are able to spend more time driving her than patching her up? Kinda know the feeling ;-)

Can't have too much power mate, but you can wreck it by sitting in neutral bazzing the throttle for no discernable reason... :wink:

about 400 is fine in an elise, any more than that is just greedy
