Tyre advice

Post by caveman » Sat Aug 21, 2010 10:51 am

I've got an S2 Exige, is it worth paying extra for semi slicks if I don't use my car that much on track? Need to buy new tyres but don't know whether to stick with A048s, move to R888s, or switch to T1R?

T1Rs are more than suffice if you dont do many track days :thumbsup

No point having semi slicks if you are not doing regular trackdays, Kumho KU31 are highly rated by people on here http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... b0s16p2336

Just checked on the 31's again, and the 17" are cheaper than my 16". Also 15" at £31, 16" double at £62.

How does that compute?

Thanks guys. Will the R1R's fit the Exige? Like the reviews on these but can't find them in correct size for the front. Closest I can find are 205s instead of 195s. Will be on the track a few times with it, just not an every weeker
