I have just had the car serviced by JD motors at Insch and looks like I need new tyres all round.
I have looked at Camskill and a good selection available so I thought I would bring up the age old question of what type and size?.
Cheers

I think the Yokohama's that come as standard are still the recommended best everyday tyre for the car.
Check with Murray Motor Co in Edinburgh for prices*. They should be able to deliver to a dealer local to you in the same group.
* Don't forget to mention the SE discount.
Green Subaru Impreza Turbo, a 'classic'.

Preferably 190/50/16 front if your rims are wide enough, 225/45/17 rear.

Ignore tut, 190 fronts...
Your front wheels are a bit narrow for 195's.
Lots of info here:

I'd suggest the AD07's...

You know what I mean, however in the first place don't buy an inferior S2 which was designed with built in understeer, hence the 175 pram tyres.

Cheers Ali,
I will do a search for the best prices on these and see what I find.
I was thinking of slightly wider on the front but only 185 instead of the standard 175.
I must have the record for the oldest Elise with the original tyres on it ,a 52 plate with the original tyres will take a bit of beating but I have only had it for 6 months and they are dead now

.
Cheers

Beats N1 Kinnon, five years old when I bought it with the original P0's still on.
