Anyone know how to go about this?
I'm not the best shape to fit comfortably in these cars so was looking to install a spacer behind the wheel to give a little extra knee clearance and a little less of a reach as I drive with the seat as far back as possible.
Spacer I am considering is one of these http://www.elise-shop.com/steering-whee ... p-237.html, which according to the site, is compatible with my car. I know it states "hub to snap-off spacer" but it is my understanding that it can also be used behind the standard steering wheel.
Obviously first thing is to disconnect the battery to prevent accidental discharge of the airbag but after that I can't see how to start taking parts off. Is this a job to leave to the pros or one I can attempt myself with a little guidance?
