Driveshaft Spring Clip

Post by Gourlay83 » Thu Sep 02, 2010 8:55 am

I'm needing a spring clip that fits on the end of a Driveshaft, S1 Rover outer.

Anyone any ideas where i would get one ?

I have some ~50K miles S2 drive shafts - I don't know whether the outer changed? You're welcome to cannibalize one if it's compatible ...

Cheers,

Thanks Robin/Tut.

I forgot about your chest of driveshafts Tut. Can I pop over and take one (clip that is) ?.

Me and Cheez (mainly Cheez) replaced my outer C.V gator but damaged the clip when removing the outer joint. I didn't have a spare so bent it back into shape so i could attend the trackday.

That's fine Alan, just make sure that it is the correct spline pattern/diameter, as I have a rogue outer CV joint that is different than the others.

tut.

ps if you come over could you remember to bring the tent.
