Alarm keyfob replacement

Hi All,

The rubber connector that goes from the keyring to the immobiliser button has snapped. Looks like it's been repaired a few times already with super glue...

Any idea if you can get a new rubber bit without replacing the keyfob itself?

I have the same issue, but reckon I'm going to just get one of these. seems worth it for only a fiver delivered.

And I got mine from these guys about 3 years ago...no idea of current pricing though!

They were referred via Cobra themselves.

Welcome to your first running repair, Colin!

My pikey solution was to buy a cheap tourist keyring with a flexible metal strap and canibalise this to replace the rubber bit. Slotted straight into the Cobra casing but I might have been lucky to find just the right size on the first attempt.

:thumbsup that's what we did with both our fobs. Dead easy to swap over too. :thumbsup

I have four keyfobs from N1 and N3 which are redundant.

Do you just put you own internals in the case, as they will be programmed to your car?
