Hey guys gona order this for the return of my S2 from the repairers. Not too fussed by sound type as long as its fairly loud and adds character to the car and has good longevity.
Is the cheapest Janspeed then (think they have a lifetime warranty, eh?).
Where is the cheapest source? Demon? Geary? - ps, is this the same as eliseparts btw?
Cheers for yer info - I cant wait to order this!!!!!

Or the Janspeed Supersport like mine. There's also a quieter Roadsport version - both available from ptp.

Great..thats a help....
Which is known for the loudest refined noise as opposed to loud and farty? Mind you some popping would be grand!!
This is prolly a perennial debate and i know the answer is to hear/see it in the flesh...but everyones car is differently modified. dont think there was a single standard K with just the exhaust done at Mexi.
Prices are all comparable so loudest but refined is what i want...
If someone is able to categorically state the characteristics that would be top!!
cheers again

My supersport is fairly loud and has a kind of heavy burble at low engine speeds, it then turns into a growl as the you get close on mid-rev and continues upto a kind of scream as you get near the high end of the revs. I love the note of my exhaust but not too sure the neighbours agree, certainly Mandy pushes the car out of the garage if we have any early morning starts.
The larini on Simon's car is more civilised and kinda need poking with a stick to make it react - which is great if you want an exhaust with a "stealth" mode.
There used to be an audio clip on my website -
http://www.macspower.co.uk - click on spec, think it only works using IE though. That was at Kh before the PTP head so is exhaust/filter and sports cat.

I think Mac's exhaust is one of the best I've heard, but you've got to bear in mind that he's got a sportscat and a PTP 165 kit too AND an ITG carbon box - pretty good stuff and I'll wager that'll contribute to the noise!!
