Brake pipes

Looks like I may have to swap out the metal brake pipes due to corrosion on them. I have not had a proper look at whether this is a nightmare yet but has anyone here got any experience of doing this? I have found loads of info about swapping out the rubber ones for stainless but nothing on the actual metal lines. My theory is that since the new parts are cheap it must be trouble.

I've made my own lines a few times, that's not hard, you just need a flare kit and some kunifer(Copper alloy) pipe (Can use pure copper but it's not as robust)
The front lines shouldn't be hard, dunno about the rears. S1 I'd think that you could do it clam on without any fuss.
It's the time to fit braided lines too if you haven't got them.

Alan Gourlay has some experience here, was talking to me about this a couple of months back I think.
