The phoenix...
I have lost count of how many times my car has crashed and burned..
Soon to rise again, with a reasonably fresh 22k miles S2 VVC engine. around 180+ bhp with the throttle bodies and exhaust manifold system I have, exhaust cam change and re timed inlet. Sticking with CR box and baffled sump. Light weight flywheel and racing clutch.
Not the 200bhp screamer that I fell in love with, more of a hard hitting mid range masher that I will wrag the titts off every opportunity.
Live fast, die young... that's engines for you.

Re: The phoenix...
Somewhere or other there is a solid VVC inlet cam plus the bits and pieces required to fit it - I think it belongs to AndyG and is at KiwiRog's ... I'm sure it would be available for sale if of any use to you?

Robin

Re: The phoenix...
Hi Robin,
Do you know what spec the cam is? I'm after a pair of 285H cams for a VVC head.
Already have the blanking kit etc.
Cheers

Re: The phoenix...
It is still an option, but wont be so full on. Will stick with more road focused tyres, wont be spending a fortune on super softs.Mikie711 wrote:Does this mean, barring any catastrophes, you'll be out to play next year?

Re: The phoenix...
They are 285 IIRC - must be H as they were for LOTRDC regs, so no M allowed - KiwiRog should have them I think - you could give him a bell and ask him? 99% sure that I paid for them, then Andy paid me, so if there is any discussion on price, Andy would be the man to talk to.roadboy wrote:Hi Robin,

Be good to see you out again. But you need a VX to beat Mikie's 2-11Victor Meldrew wrote:It is still an option, but wont be so full on. Anyway, I'll be in A1 in a Metro so I don't know why I'm laughing.
