Exige CO2

Received my car tax which stated the Exige S (2008 registered) CO2 was 216g/km.

However, I cant find anything to confirm this! Anything I can find it shows the CO2 as 199g/km.

Before I go off on one to the DVLA, can any SE member confirm?

Pretty sure the co2 level dropped with the introduction of 2010 m.y. Was definitely over 200 until fairly recently.

In fact was 208 for Exige, 216 for Exige S.

Yup - when the tax banding came in, Elaine had a wee moan at me about her "cheaper to run" Elise was costing as much as her old Audi S3 in tax (turboed and smelt of raw fuel at idle)

I then reminded her about the MPG...

Thankfully, the S8 comes in just before the worst of the banding (it's in that 2 year gap before they really started taking the p*ss) or I'd be selling a lung to tax it.
