Electric roller doors

Do these need maintained ie serviced / lubed (owh er) etc?! cheers

I had 3 new ones installed a couple of years ago.
User / instalation manual for them didn't mention any maintainance.

Not had to do anything with mine. The side of the door fits with clearance in the runners, so no need for lubrication.

If you remember the roler at my old flat then yes. Probably becuase it was used ~30 times per day though. Main thing was greasing the side runners.

If it's a glidearoll or the like then the runners should be dry with no maintenance. IF it's a metal roller shutter then maintenance will be required.
