In Car I-pod & I-phone Connectors/chargers

Post by mrbennybennett » Tue Oct 26, 2010 3:15 pm

I was wondering if anyone could help me on this?

I currently have the standard i-pod connector on my Alpine stereo in the car - it happily connects and charges my old (5 year old) I-pod but I have just bought one of the new i-pod nanos (6th generation)specifically for keeping in the car and it connects OK but doesnt charge. It is the same with my i-phone

Does anyone know if there is any sort of adaptor you can use so that both the new nano and i-phone can be charged ??

Found this on the Apple site but not sure if it will work with the new one?

Worth taking a punt?

Yep,

That adaptor will allow the new nano's etc. to charge..no room left to connect your headphones though.

Take care,

Frank

Yawn, yet another example of Apple making gratuitous changes to force you into buying yet more Apple sh*t ...
