Does anyone use Iridium spark plugs on the toyota engined Lotus?

I am thinking about installing a set on my Exige - has anyone had any dealings with them and whats the views?

I used to do a bit of engine testing on dynamometers and carried out some testing when they first came onto the market and the improvements were fairlly good over the standard plugs.

Thoughts and suggestions please!!!

Regards

Chris

I ran on the exige when running about 280 then when upped to 310 I ran a grade colder, 7 I think (strange that its colder since they are for higher temps). I dont know if its essential but seems to be the norm on boosted cars even my MR2 has grade 5 NGK's (about the only thing that was right with the car!). Of course this is due to the higher temps but dont think it would be needed for a N/A.
Reading back Im not much help :) hopefully someone will come back with a more informed answer, I do know however that NGKs can be expected to last upto 100000 km!!
Craig.

Silver tips are said to be better, iridium is not as good a conductor but lasts longer
