I tried to start the elise this morning to give the engine a wee run in the garage as she hasnt been out in a week or so, however she wouldnt start, as i havent owned the car long or ever had to charge a battery before i am wondering how long it is deemed safe to leave this style of charger connected?

I have one of these connected to the Elise 24/7 when not in use and have done for over a year with no issues. :thumbsup

I believe this product is designed for exactly that purpose in that it claims to not overcharge the battery.

Mine has been hooked up for a couple of weeks at a time through most winters with no issues.
