Whoops, thought tranit meant your white van Colin, not the 340R.
Well done and hope that you did a good job on it.

Allow me to translate for Super Mario.
Grease was escaping out the inner Cv joints, so replaced the gators with smaller ones, installed a breather and used high temp grease. Which is the same as the inner joints in my car, which are tippy top after a year and a half and 12000 miles. I have replaced the outer joints though.
Colin also has the stronger outer joints, as the standard joints aren't up to it.
I honestly believe that if you prep them properly, you won't have an issue (providing you have the stronger outers).
Just a bit of maintenance
Alan

No no. I took his monster out yesterday and its too fast for me. Went to pass a car, nailed third at around 65 and passed the car sideways!! Not fun just plain scary
Colin you need new back tyres

Craig, as you had 40hp more than that in your last two cars with no problem, is it the power delivery that is making the difference?

Dont know mate, his nitrons are due for rebuilds so that may help and his tires were completely bald but maybe Im just getting morals? Great car and even the blue has started to grow on me but Ill stick with the VHPD.
Got me thinkning on how mental Andys atom must have been to control and then thinking about the 300
One thing I did notice was how easy his car was to catch, mines a lot more snappy.
