Undertray/diffuser bolts
Having taken the car to bits in one location and putting it back together in 2 others, the undertray bolts/fasteners have gone astray.
I'll need a full new set: does anybody know what sizes/lengths I need before I head to grampian fasteners looking vague?
thanks in advance

Re: Undertray/diffuser bolts
can only find their quick release system which is M8 and M5 sizes: was pretty sure some of them were M6 but could be wrong.

Re: Undertray/diffuser bolts
It depends on your diffuser. There are at least 16 M5's and you may have 2 more.
If you buy the C-clips/spire nuts from EP they don't come with bolts. If you buy them from Lotus (assuming they still sell such a cheap item
) then they come with bolts.
Beware that most C-clips you'll find on the market are for self tapping screws, not metric thread bolts/screws. Although you could use these for the elise, I'm not convinced that the self tapper will do up tight enough to stay put, considering all the vibrations, etc.
Cheers,
Robin

Re: Undertray/diffuser bolts
They are motorbike fairing kits.
This looks likely, but I don't remember exactly the spec of the fasteners.
