Has anyone got a set of corner weight scales i could borrow briefly as i need to weigh my moggie.
I am not too sure as to exactly how heavy it is but very would be a good description. Its guestimated as about 2.5tons but plated to 5.5 fully loaded and the book weight is 2.9 so basically i haven't got a clue.
I want to know for trailering it to places so i can stay legalish

You going to get the geo done too? I reckon a bit more camber front and rear and a smidge of toe out to sharpen up the cornering...

Why don't you just take it to a weighbridge? I know there was one by the college in Dyce somewhere. One of my mates use to go there to weigh his cars if no one was about. Couldn't tell you exactly where it is but I could put you onto my mate you could. If that one is not close enough for you there are a few others around Aberdeen and normally they don't mind people using them if you're freindly enough.

5.5tons! is that with fuel in it.
Quarry weighbridges are good to the nearest 10kg's possibly better

Problem is getting it to the wieghbridge as it is of doubious legality to tow the bugger and seeing as that it is many many points for being overwieght i'd rather not risk it.
If i get it road legal then i can drive it there but before then i need to find out the max speed for the tyres as it may have a top speed so high the tyres will explode for the sheer speed.

I'm sure you could invent your own set of scales using some plates, hydraulic piping and measure the resultant pressure to calculate the weight.
............project mode.........

No seriously its top speed really is high enough to burst tyres
About 50mph which is fast enough to burst tractor tyres

Get some Fastrac tyres. They're good for 50mph
