The dreaded subject that has been discussed many times, however what length should the replacement braided part be? There are some on eBay for about 70 quid but are 3.1M long.... The original is 4M according to the web??

I guess I could buy it from bell & colville but it's 130 quid!

58+fat from EP. I'd be more comfortable buying there than from ebay.

Agreed, just buy the EP item.

Fitting it is a barrel of laughs!

Bleeding out the clutch can be problematic when the pipe is full of air; using a pressure bleeder makes sense if you've got one.

For bleeding, a great tip I got form SELOC is to compress the clutch slave cylinder fully and secure it with a cable tie. It made the bleeding much easier when I replaced my slave cylinder. I was using an easy bleeder as mention above.

I was still recovering and simply not fit fit enough to change it, looked hard work. I had to sit down and that was just watching.
