Nice work!

One tip - might be a bit late - if you get a fiberglass kit with liquid hardener it's so much easier and nicer to mix!

I had to repair some big chunks of the Esprit body mounts.
The liquid stuff mixes in seconds and the kit I got had a syrynge for measuring the hardener accurately.
The resin was also thinner and wetted out more easily than fastglas.

Keep up the good work!

Nice - what's the status with the engine and chassis ?

Strange photo's from no.7 onwards - looks like the car was an extra in Close Encounters* :D

*assumes you are old enough to remember this 70's classic

Not quiet old enough too remember,Elan production stopped just after i was born, engine and chassis are in very good condition chassis was replaced some time in the early 80s and seen very little use since only one patch of surface rust above diff, chassis was sent off for shot blasting then sprayed with zinc and then powder coated, one problem i had was getting someone with a big enough oven to bake it...time will tell how good this lasts, all suspension now upgraded to TTR spec http://www.tonythompsonracing.co.uk/intro.html as are drive shafts output shafts wheel bearings diff mounts etc...as for the engine will pull it apart after i get all the bodywork finished ....
