Where to buy Ferodos??

Post by Wkd » Thu Oct 20, 2011 8:42 am

My clio RS's brakes are officially pants. Technical term. As in they just ain't the same as the Evora!!
I've been recommended a set of Ferodo DS2500s, but do any of you know the best place to source them from.
Just needing fronts.

Ive had issues with the brakes on my Clio as well so will be interested to see what is recommended/good as an upgrade as i agree they are pretty pants

Both my rear calipers siezed and one of the fronts as well and boiled the fluid etc - took it to the dealer at sighthill who said it was fine. Eventually took it to Rentec in Portobello who actually diagnosed the problem and fixed it - they will be getting my business in future

Will proabbly upgrade when i get it serviced next year :thumbsup

cheers

Speak to Ewen at Clark Motorsport http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/

sure he'll sort something out for you - think they can just supply or supply and fit if you're nearby

Benny, don't get me started on the debacle that is Evans Halshaw!! My Clio will be spared from their ineptitude in future. They actually told me I was making it up when I said that I'd been to see them before about a noise from gear box upon high rev gear changes. Being a Service Manager myself, surely calling your customer a liar is the biggest mistake you can make??

You forgot to mention that they said it was the RevChange beep as well & that was when we told them that it came in at 5,000 rpm upwards  We will never venture in their door again, complete bunch of muppers that have enough trouble spelling RS never mind diagnosing an issue with one.
