This may sound silly, but as a newbie! Where can I get tyres, Everywhere I go tries to sell me 195's for my S2 elise. Can anyone recommend a safe fitter in the Glasgow area?
Thanks confused person.

Sorry I can;t help with a local garage but Murray Motor Company ( Lotus Dealer) in Edinburgh usually do a good deal on OE tyres, if you're changing brand or are on a budget try
http://www.camskill.co.uk they normally have great prices and fast delivery!

Not really on a budget, but with the options told to me by Ally I thought it would be easy to pick up a couple of front tyres. A good few internet hrs later and a few visits to so called performance tyre suppliers. Got no where fast. mainstream dealers still trying to tell me I should be fitting 195's and giving me strange looks when I inform them the new spec is 175! Anyway I wouldn't trust most of them to jack or fit tyres!

You can go to 195 tyres on the front and it does give you more options.
I would reccomend either MMC for dealer fit tyres at a good price or try Black Circles on-line.

Try Etyres.com as well, they'll come at fit at yours and did a decent job for us before. Not sure what you're looking for though so pick carefully.

Nice angles, both. Actually had insomnia.
Saw 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on the clock. Interspersed with an unco-operative younger child who has still not learned the meaning of "please stay in your own bed all night".
I nearly took the Elise out for a night patrol, but just before I had talked myself into the idea and figured out the excuses I was going to file when arriving back at breakfast time, guess what. Nodded off. You couldn't make it up.

Eliseparts do AD07 for about £130/front (delivered) or £600 for a full set, but you need a fitter then - should still be ble to get £15/corner,

Think I was about £500 for R888s fully fitted from Wheelsaround, admitedly for and S1 but that was still £150 less than eliseparts without fitting.
Im pretty sure he'd wallop Eliseparts price for ad07s too and as far a Im aware has lots of regular customers on here. So mention Se when you phone.
