S2 door locks

Did Lotus change the door locks between the S1 and S2 Elise? While killing time waiting at SLS I had a look around some S2's that were in, and noticed that all of them had a much smoother action. They sounded way less tinny and generally seemed much tighter. Are the doors that different??

Locks are the same (Corsa boot lock) - more sound deadening in the doors the later you go. I notice no difference in the actual action between my S1 and Elaine's 111R

Must be that then, plus I think that my doors have slightly dropped so maybe tightening up the alignment would help.

Yup - the S1 thunk when you push the button is the door falling off the pin Mine's done that bit for years... Should sort it, but probably wont
