Great to see the car on the road. See you Saturday at KH or even on the road down.

As a foot note to this thread the car had it's first outing at KH and despite a few niggles , blown injector seal repaired with super glue and some pick up on the front disc's, it ran fine.
Some footage from the day.

Yep GoPro Hero 3 Black, 1080p 24fps setting. Goes much, much higher but file size would be huge. That entire clip is 750Mb.

Glad to see that you managed to complete your project, and in a way it's a pity that its finished, because I really enjoyed all your posts and pictures. :thumbsup

Looks like we will be reading another one soon though, with Sandy away to do a Honda conversion on his 135 Sport.

Stunning car, I'd love to take it off your hands if funds allowed.

Fancy a 111s and a packet of crisps as a p/x deal?

How about a 135r with provenance. And some crisps. And (looks in pocket) £19.83?

So the rumour about Scotty C getting it as a wedding present was wide of the mark?

Boagster as trade in?

Lets hope it stays in SE, and good luck with the sale. I don't think that you will have to wait too long for it to go.

What was it that made you change your mind and go for the v6, or has it got something to do with Brandon or Neil?

Steve.

Out of curiosity more than anything I took the car to a rolling road to see if it was producing the power it felt like behind the wheel. Did 2 runs but the first ran off the end of the chart as the RPM scale never went far enough in the software. Fixed that and below is the result of the second run done a couple of minutes after the first. We let the intercooler cool down a bit but was still quite toasty for run 2 also adjusted some fans to feed some cooler air into the side ducts.

Image

The top line is calculated flywheel, second line is actual wheel HP and third is torque. All in all pretty pleased with the outcome and have no doubt that when cooler the car will be making a bit more especially with proper airflow when driving.
The calculated figure is corrected by 13% so even if you drop that to 10% she still made 253bhp (ish).

This graph has the AFR plotted against the BHP and apart from a small blip is pretty good throughout.

As a side note I got quite a shock watching the car on the rollers and noticing the exhaust heat up. Don't usually see it but with this car you can Holly Sh!t, I never realised they got that hot.......

So, finally all done finished.
On the road the car is pretty settled now I have a set of suspension settings worked out for it. It can be as sedate as you like around town and a hoot out the road but really on track this thing just grows horns. Such good fun anywhere and it'll be a shame to see it go but someone is going to end up with a hell of car. That said I would not be disappointed if it didn't sell just have to find a different way to fund my new Exige.
