Couldn't say for sure mate, as I'm a CG-lock user.

These are the ones fitted to the exige:-

could be cheap, but then I don't know! You'll also need a harness bar, so cost could mount up quite quickly.

Gareth,

If you drive more on road than you do on track then I would go for something like the CG lock.

If your sure you want harnesses then the willans are the best on the market as they have the quick release shoulder mechanisms,

They ain't cheap and neither is the bar.

Yeah I know about the downside of Harnesses Mac.
Willians harnesses on pistonheads for £180, harness bar for £100.
I have a CG-Lock. 8)

yeah that nearly caught me out!

I believe that the bar and the harnesses have to be of the wrap-around type. You probably new that already but just thought id check :thumbsup

Mine are LUKE bolt in harnesses. Once you are used to them they are great!

just for clarity - holes in seats = Wraps

No holes in seats = bolt ins.

If you are going for them the IMHO the willians are the best money can buy. It's an easy fit too - but you do need to hack into the black plastic cover behind the seats AND you rear vision is much reduced and the blind spot much bigger.

Not strictly true. I used wrap-around shoulder straps with standard seats but used extra strap material around the shoulder straps to stop them spreading apart. Common practice.

I have the Willans ones which are very good but quite expensive , I have blocked out of my mind the cost . Knowing what I know now I should have tried a CG lock first at its quite effective.

I wouldn't agree that Willans are the best on the market. We sell harnesses from Sabelt, OMP, Willans, Sparco, Cobra and TRS. For quality vs. cost ratio you will struggle to beat Sabelt (who supply the majority of the F1 grid and WRC teams, amongst others). IMHO Willans are overpriced.

Drop me a line if you want some advice, and - of course - discounted harnesses! We've supplied plenty of these to Elise and Exige owners.
