Running lean at idle

Ok, since fixing manifold gasket and fitting a new working wideband (plx this time :mrgreen: )

I am running lean at idle. :cry:

rest of rev range is ok, but at idle it starts off ok and then gradually gets leaner and leaner, until it starts to sound rough.

any ideas? I am guessing MAF sensor? which i may have a spare if i can locate it.

suppose it helps if hose is actually attached to inlet plenum :oops:

nice rich cold idle that goes to 14.5 when warm...guess that is that fixed then. :mrgreen:

For reference, the K doesn't have a MAF it has a MAP; on S1 it's built into the MEMS1.9 ECU; in S2 and VVC engines it's built into a combined pressure/inlet temperature sensor that's located on the right hand (drivers) end of the inlet manifold.

Yes and they are generally very reliable, I have known 1 go down so far, completely threw the running and made the engine very difficult to start.
