Brakes creaking

Noticed recently that there is a creaking from the brake pedal - I initially thought it was the pedal box as I can hear it in the car but after parking in the drive and pressing the pedal I realised it is louder outside the car. Brakes work completely as normal & it creaks if you jump in and press the pedal without moving so it is more an annoyance than anything else.

Any ideas?

Sounds like it is definately coming from the front

Mine has done that for years now. Brakes still work really well

Worse when hot, for info...

In that case strip and clean out the calipers and rebuild?
