wheres the cheapest place to get these tyres from for my elise rears, 225 / 45 / 16

Sorry mate - oxymoron!

Can get from MMC, with a 5% discount on a pair. LTS spec are lotus dealer only, so its either touch your toes or get from eliseparts (neither of which be cheap).

Least expensive would be more appropriate! You can apparently get non LTS tyres cheaper and the difference is minimal. Dunno where from though....

not expecting them to be too cheap, maybe £100 a tyre. just not sure where to get them, phoned a few tyre places today, no joy. will phone MMC tomorrow.

Remember you've still to add fitting to that.
Try phoning MMC and ask how much they'll do them for, as Greg said you should get 5% a pair (or 10% for a full set ;) ) when you ask for the SE discount.
