Morning
Exhaust has been rubbing off the undertray for a wee bit & can see that the engine mount on the gearbox side (just to clarify that's the one just under the air intake box location/hurricane in my car) is fubared.
Three questions....
1) Can I buy a standard MGF one from rover or is it special?
2) Any special instructions or just whack a trolley jack under the engine to support it & get stuck in?
3) Is the fact that it's goosed imply that the others are fecked too (drivers side doughnut at top looks ok & lower tie bar bushes look ok)?

I fitted a MGTF box straight in with its bracket and rubber mount. they are the same but I fitted it with the rear clam removed
you can support the gear box with a trolly jack and use this to alighn the brackets but you may find the bolts either realy tight or siezed and arkward to undo only getting a quater of a turn on one off the bolts
the wheel arch would be better removed along with the airbox of course

There are only the three; if the gearbox end one is gone but the other two look good I would just swap it.
Cannot say for sure whether it's an MGF part or not - it might be a lotus special given that the one on the other side is a Rover part and it would just be too fortunate for them to have designed it to be exactly the same width as the MGF
Be careful not to foul the gear linkage or drive shafts with your jack - block of wood under the box and take the load with a jack will be fine, assuming you can undo and redo all the bolts.
Cheers,
Robin

Oh, and I forgot to say that if your exhaust is dangling it's probably because at least one of the four rear hangars is fubared or missing. I have a bag of replacement supports for the output side of the cat (these are often missing). I also might still have one or two rubbers, but they're in short supply at present.
