Had to call AA tonight. Car seems to have dropped a cylinder, but engine lid won't bloody open so couldn't diagnose why.
Car is going to be recovered back to my house (bucksburn). Anybody think they could help get into/diagnose the reason for the dropped cylinder (not tonight obviously)? A pack of beers would immediately follow...
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
James

Spot on mike, you're a legend. Likely won't be tonight as they're not picking it up for another 2 hours or so, maybe tomorrow night? Cheers

Tis a small world. Kerry was telling me at the weekend that he was in Singapore at an oil meeting, and a chap was talking about his love of Scoobys, and the road runs that he used to do in Scotland.
Kerry asked him if he perchance know an Elise driver called tut, and it turned out he was Jools Coghill, good friend of myself and John Stewart whom I met on my first Tour d'Ecosse on my 60th birthday. Jools is a great narrator and had us in stitches when he gave a speech when they presented me with my special birthday cake, of Saturdays events on our 650 mile run.
Still have a copy, but it is quite long.
