Steering Wheel Spacer + Sticky Stuff Removal
Steering Wheel Spacer + Sticky Stuff Removal
Wondering if anyone has used a steering wheel spacer with a standard S1 steering wheel. Find my knees getting in the road a touch when Im driving.
All I can see advertised is this for a snap on

Also looking to replace the rear arch protectors, anyone got any tips for removing without damaging the paintwork.

I used that same spacer with 30mm M6 set cap-head set screws. Simple once the wheel is off.

Did you need to use any other parts to get the horn to work?Scottish Scrutineer wrote:I used that same spacer with 30mm M6 set cap-head set screws. Simple once the wheel is off.

No, there was enough slack in the wires. Simple crimp job if not.
