I'd like to put the Evora on the dyno to see what it's putting out.

Any recommendations on who to use in the Glasgow area?

Cheers.

Maybe not directly in Glasgow but when I had the Mitsubishi Evo VIII I went on a dyno day with the MLR at Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn (used them for my Evo servicing also).

Maybe an option is no one else comes back with some Dyno locations in Glasgiw.

Thanks

I believe there is a decent place in Hillington. Never been myself though.

Might try that, working next weekend again so might be a good excuse to make an early exit Friday...

First run on the dyno showed 388bhp at the wheels.
I must have the most powerful N/A Evora ever built!
Something not quite right there.

OK, so one full system reset later-

310.6 Bhp which I must admit is more than I expected.
The operator was adamant though that their dyno is known for reading less than some of the others around and that the figure is pretty accurate.
Wish I had a 'before' figure from when the de-cat and Radium weren't fitted.
At least it gives me a point to measure from if I go ahead with further tuning work.

Healthy - but usual caveats about it really only being a baseline on that day for you to check mods as you add them, etc... Which you know anyway :)

I've heard chatter about the exhaust system (and cats) being the real power limiter on the Evora, so makes sense if the cats are out that you'll see a jump. :thumbsup

The decat will only remove the third cat you need manifolds to get rid of the other 2.

Not sure if I want to go that far as I believe it won't pass an mot like that.
Plus we got stopped for a road side emissions test the other day.

A remap maybe, the guy at ecotune says it is running a little rich at present.

Decisions to be made :-)

I've got the full 2Bular decat Manifold and sport cat exhaust on the SSR, would be interested to see what it's putting out now.
