Scottish Elises

Front right indicator has stopped working, so presuming it was just the bulb i bought some tasty LED replacements. Much faffing later trying to actually access them I got both fronts changed over, but the front right still doesn't work. Any bright ideas? (no pun intended)

On a related note, my indicators now flash at twice their normal speed!

i had this once before. Also had total indicator failure (handily discovered at the MOT station)

I found the hazard warning switch (peugeot item) has seveal sets of contacts where the indicators are wired through. dampness in the car had caused corrosion on the switch contacts. Vigorous exercising of the button got them to work for the MOT, but i replaced the switch shortly after.
you might find that pressing the hazards also proves the right front lamp/circuit. Failing that its an earth or wiring fault.

just noticed 'LED replacements'. These can have less load on the relay and cause faster blinking than filament lamps. however, if its ok in the left front side then its likely not the new LED lamps.

LED indicators need a different relay pack.

Before you do all of that, though, why not put the bulbs back in, buy one new bulb (or swap from known working side to the other side) and check that it all works first. Then deal with what's required to make the LEDs work (or, perhaps, decide that one photon is much the same as another and just leave the normal bulbs in ).

Ok have checked the working old bulb in the other side and still no light. So do you think it's a wiring problem?

Yes, it's some sort of wiring problem but really it will be a corroded connector or switch contact as above ... press the hazard switch and see if the broken one starts to blink ...
