odd electrical problems with the evora

Post by ninja » Fri Feb 14, 2014 10:40 pm

when i switch the internal light on when the doors open or on permanently the car thinks the passengers door is open - winds the window down slightly and the alarm goes off when i exist the car.

the only setting in which the car doesn't open the passenger door is the first setting is off which means i have no internal light.

i can actually toggle the switch and see the window open!?

anyone?

If it helps I'll look after it for you until I fix it.

I have a garage in which it will stay nice and warm - you may recognize it...

Sounds monstrously weird, but as you've just bought it, I'd be on the phone to Craig at MMC. If he can't diagnose and tell you what to do on the phone, it'll be a warranty fix.

if my niece hadn't been in the back and needing the light on to fasten her seatbelt it could have been months before i even noticed it!

footwell light is disconnected too and when i reconnect it again opens the doors!? lol

ok rather than make things worse by myself i decided to be a grown up and took it back to the boffins at murray lotus. seems the problems were due to a couple of blown fuses! got a freaky volvo as a courtesy car, it's the devils car i tell you, you can take the key out and it still works!
